Today I am reviewing 6 Ripley Avenue by Noelle Holten, published by 0ne More Chapter.
Jeanette is the manager of a probation hostel that houses high risk offenders released on license.
At 3am one morning, she receives a call telling her a resident has been murdered.
Her whole team, along with the eight convicted murderers, are now all suspects in a crime no one saw committed…
Don’t miss the first nerve-shredding standalone thriller from Noelle Holten, author of the Maggie Jamieson series.
”One house…Eight Killers…No witnesses…”
What more can I say about Noelle Holten’s work that I haven’t already said. Well, at the risk of repeating myself once again (sorry not sorry!), 6 Ripley Avenue, her first standalone crime thriller, is another absolute belter of a read!
I loved this plot that focuses on a probation hostel where the most high risk and violent offenders are taken after being released on licence. When a murder takes place on the premises, everyone becomes a suspect.
The characters are top notch, good and bad, plenty to suspect and multiple points of view gives the reader a range of perspectives. I really liked Sloane and the chapters that are interspersed throughout from the killer’s voice, which enhances it’s overall sinister tone.
A real edge of your seat, dark and twisted thriller, 6 Ripley Avenue is a must read. Holten has definitely left her mark in the crime thriller genre with this book and her DC Maggie Jamieson series, and she is right up there with the best of the best!
Thank you to Noelle Holten, 0ne More Chapter and NetGalley for allowing me to read an advance copy of 6 Ripley Avenue, which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
