Today I am reviewing One for Sorrow by Helen Fields. This was released on the 3rd of March, published by Avon Books.

One for sorrow, two for joy
Edinburgh is gripped by the greatest terror it has ever known: a lone bomber is targeting victims across the city, and no one is safe.
Three for a girl, four for a boy
In their jobs, DCI Ava Turner and DI Luc Callanach deal with death every day. But when it becomes clear that every bomb is a trap designed to kill them too, the possibility of facing it themselves starts to feel all too real.
Five for silver, six for gold
With the body count rising daily and the bomber’s methods becoming ever more horrifying, Ava and Luc must race to find out who is behind the attacks – or pay the ultimate price…
Seven for a secret never to be told…

“He knows who’s guilty…He’s going to make them pay…”

Holy fudge, talk about being taken on an action packed thrilling roller coaster ride! My head is still spinning, my heart racing again looking back on it as I write this review (I had to wait a few days before I could write one) and I am yet to pick my jaw back up off the floor!!

As always Helen Fields is on her game and I think this is her best work yet. Everything about this book has best seller written all over It. The plot is bone chilling, the characters are first class and the writing and execution is just flawless. Each chapter left me wanting more and I could not put it down until I was done!

One For Sorrow is the 7th instalment in this series, but if you are looking for a new one to sink your teeth into, I can not recommend this one highly enough!

Thank you to Helen Fields, Avon Books and NetGalley for allowing me to read an advanced copy of One For Sorrow, which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

This review will be added to, Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Amazon Australia & Amazon US. I will also add to NetGalley, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play and Barnes & Noble if available. As I am from Australia, I am unable to add to Amazon UK, but will post to Waterstones & Foyles if also available.
