Today I am taking part in and reviewing His Other Woman by Louise Voss. This was released on the 2nd of July, published by Bookouture.
What would you do if the love of your life forgot you… and met someone else?
I waved my husband goodbye at the airport, and he vanished without a trace. I sat awake, night after night, looking at photos of our family. I knew he would never leave us.
And then I found him.
Now he lives with the younger, beautiful woman he thinks he loves. And he doesn’t even recognise me.
Who will he choose? Can I forgive him? And will I ever be able to look into his eyes without thinking of his other woman?
From the bestselling author Louise Voss comes a heartbreakingly emotional story about family and forgiveness, that will make you cry and hold on tight to the ones you love. Perfect for fans of Nicole Trope, Kerry Fisher and The Silent Daughter.
I can’t even begin to imagine what it would feel like waving your husband off at the airport not knowing that they are going to vanish without a trace. But even worse, imagine months later you are reacquainted and you find they are in another relationship! All this and much more is explored in this emotionally charged tale by Louise Voss.
This is really a hard book to review as I don’t want to go into more of the plot than what is detailed in the blurb. It is best uncovering it in the way that Louise Voss has set it up and this is without knowing too much before diving in.
What I will say is that my heart went out to both women and I was actually torn as to how I wanted this to play out. In my head I thought I knew how this was going to go, but it takes a completely unexpected turn at such velocity that it made my head spin!
His Other Woman really pulls on the heartstrings and is a compelling story. It is also thought provoking and will having you questioning what you would do if you found yourself in this situation. All up an intriguing read which I enjoyed.
Thank you to Louise Voss, Bookouture and NetGalley for allowing me to read an advanced copy of His Other Woman, which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
This review will be added to, Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Amazon Australia & Amazon US. I will also add to NetGalley, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play and Barnes & Noble if available. As I am from Australia, I am unable to add to Amazon UK, but will post to Waterstones & Foyles if also available.
