Book Blurb
Together, Eleanor and Orlando start afresh in LA. Setting up house in a storybook cottage in the Hollywood Hills, Eleanor is cast in a dream role—the lead in a remake of Rebecca. As she immerses herself in that eerie gothic tale, Orlando’s personality changes, ghosts of her past re-emerge, and Eleanor fears she is not the only person in her marriage with a secret.
In this thrilling and twisty homage to Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca, the story ricochets through the streets of Los Angeles, a dangerous marriage to an exotic stranger, and the mind of a young woman whose past may not release her.
Ruby Falls is a well written thriller that kept my attention from beginning to end. A compelling tale that had me furiously flicking the pages on my Kindle well into the night.
Just one more chapter I kept telling myself which turned into another one and another one until there was none left! I was so caught up in the drama of it all I couldn’t tear myself away for even a second.
Deborah Goodrich Royce is a new author to me and one I look forward to reading more from. All up Ruby Falls is a thrilling and tension filled read that I recommend.
Thank you to Deborah Goodrich Royce, Post Hill Press and Netgalley for allowing me to read an advanced copy of Ruby Falls, which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
